Grace Chiboni Kapoma | A Zambian,based in Solwezi districtwith a professional background in teaching.

A holder of Masters Degree in Project Management,Bachelors Degree in SpecialEducationas major and Environmental Education as minor from the University of Zambia.

I have over 11 years’ experience working as a Geography Teacher and five years as a Special Education Needs Teacher.

In the field of Special Education, I have had opportunities to execute the skill of special education by giving individual attention to each learner both in the comfort of their home and in an inclusive educational setup.

My experience in Special Education Need (SEN) has been, but not limited to learners with hearing impairment, Intellectual Challenges and currently working with learners who are Autistic, Speech and language Delay. In this interest to assist individual with special needs, I am a founder of Edubest Academy, providing homeschool services to a child in need of education services.

For environmental related issues I have been privileged to serve as a club matron, prepare and organise learners fortours, competition such as quiz and debate where we merged winners.

I am 1 Million Teacher Black belt Graduate 1st Dan, and Bemba Facilitator at ALAA-African Language Academy Australia.

My work is centred on Environmental issues, Geography, Special Education Needs and Literacy.

My educational philosophy is every student is an individual, learning at their own pace in their unique way to achieve their learning progress through individualised attention.

Away from teaching I spend my time with my children, creating memorable moments through play. I also find time to be creative by tailoring curtains.

I love taking photos and academic reading of my interest.

I am always looking for new ways to experience the art of teaching and learning as learning is a never-ending process.

My prospect is to have a progressive career that impacts society and foster resilience, adaptability and confidence.
