Nzige K Kawaka (Kawaka)

Nzige K Kawaka (Kawaka) is a Youth Worker and founder of Kawaka Art. Originally from Tanzania, and living in Western Australia for the past 10+ years, Kawaka’s professional background is teaching visual art to primary students. His passion is to share and promote his culture through language, visual arts and traditional African music (including drumming and dancing). Kawaka’s goal is to restore the connection of his homeland with his children and other Diaspora children that might seek some information to feel connected with the African land, culture and people.
